A clear path to a confident go-live
Implementing a new business platform affects your processes, data, systems, and people. TravelOperations guides your organization through the complete journey, from initial planning and solution design to testing, training, deployment, and ongoing operations.
Our structured approach to Travel CRM implementation and travel agency ERP implementation gives your teams clear responsibilities, defined decision points, and support throughout every stage.
How we keep implementation under control:

Clear scope and ownership
We align project objectives, responsibilities, solution architecture, timelines, and decision-making processes before major configuration begins.
Tested processes,
data, and integrations
Configuration, integrations, and travel software data migration are validated throughout the project rather than left until the final stages.
Prepared teams and users
Functional teams, technical stakeholders, internal trainers, and end users are introduced to the platform progressively, helping build knowledge and ownership before go-live.
Travel expertise built into the process
Start with proven travel processes. Configure around genuine business needs.
TravelOperations brings established travel-industry processes, core configuration, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise into the project from the beginning. During analysis, we review these best practices alongside your existing processes and requirements to determine how the platform should support your business.
Where adjustments are needed, we agree on the most suitable approach. This may include configuration, integration, an adapted process, a practical workaround, or an enhancement. The result is a controlled implementation built on proven functionality, with the flexibility to support the areas that make your organization unique.

The implementation process
Five stages with clear outcomes at every step
Our implementation approach takes your organization from initial alignment to stable daily operations. Each stage has a defined purpose, clear responsibilities, and practical outputs that prepare the project for the next decision.
Stage 1. Initiation
Establish a strong
foundation
We begin by aligning the project teams, objectives, scope, governance, solution landscape, financial framework, and technical environments. This stage creates a shared understanding of what will be delivered, how the project will be managed, and who is responsible for key decisions and activities.
Stage 2. Analysis
Validate processes and requirements
Together, we review your processes and requirements against TravelOperations best practices and Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities. We document where the standard platform fits and where configuration, integration, or another agreed approach is required.
Stage 3. Build and test
Configure and test
the solution
We configure the platform, prepare integrations, complete iterative travel software data migration, and train the core project team. The solution is then validated through process and end-to-end testing based on real business scenarios.
Stage 4. Deployment
Prepare for a controlled
go-live
Together, we complete user acceptance testing, end-user training, technical handover, and final cutover activities. TravelOperations prepares and releases the production environment, supports the transition, and provides dedicated go-live support throughout hypercare.
Stage 5. Operation
Move from implementation to confident daily use
After go-live, we support your teams as the new platform becomes part of everyday work. The project transitions into ongoing support and Customer Success, with guidance through important early milestones such as the first month-end close.

Clear answers before your implementation begins
What does a TravelOperations implementation include?
A TravelOperations implementation covers five stages: initiation, analysis, build and test, deployment, and operation. Depending on the project scope, this includes project governance, solution blueprinting, process analysis, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to ongoing support.
Each implementation is planned around the agreed CRM, ERP, mid-office, back-office, and finance requirements of the travel agency.
How long does a TravelOperations implementation take?
The implementation timeline is determined by the agreed scope and complexity of the project. Important factors include the solutions being implemented, the number of business entities, data volume and quality, integrations, enhancements, rollout approach, and the availability of customer resources.
During initiation, TravelOperations and the customer agree on the project plan, milestones, responsibilities, and target go-live date. This creates a realistic timeline based on the organization’s requirements.
Who needs to be involved from our organization?
A successful implementation requires a cross-functional customer team. For a larger ERP project, this normally includes an executive sponsor or project owner, a project manager, subject-matter experts from finance and operations, IT and integration specialists, data owners, testers or super users, and internal trainers.
TravelOperations leads the implementation methodology and solution delivery. The customer team contributes business knowledge, data, decisions, testing, and internal change leadership. The exact roles and responsibilities are agreed during initiation.
How does TravelOperations handle data migration from legacy systems?
Travel software data migration is planned and validated throughout the implementation. TravelOperations defines the data requirements and templates, supports data mapping and issue resolution, and guides the customer through iterative test migrations before the final cutover.
The customer provides, cleans, and validates the source data according to the agreed migration plan. Repeated migration cycles help confirm that the data is compatible, complete, and ready before it is moved into the production environment.
How are integrations, ERP testing, and user acceptance testing handled?
Integrations and ERP testing are validated in stages rather than left until go-live. Depending on the project, testing can include connectivity or smoke testing, process testing, end-to-end testing in a production-like environment, and user acceptance testing using agreed business scenarios and migrated data.
TravelOperations supports test preparation, execution, issue tracking, and resolution. Customer subject-matter experts and designated testers validate that the solution supports their real business processes before go-live.
What training and support are provided before and after go-live?
TravelOperations prepares the customer’s core team through system introductions, functional and technical training, train-the-trainer support, training materials, and technical handover.
The customer’s internal trainers then prepare end users around their roles and daily processes, with support from TravelOperations. During deployment, TravelOperations provides CRM and ERP go-live support and an agreed hypercare period. The project then transitions to ongoing support and Customer Success. ERP implementations may also include support around the first month-end close.
