Welcome to our newest customer: Tandem Travel

We are delighted to welcome Tandem Travel, one of New Zealand’s leading Travel Management Companies, to the TravelOperations family. We will be working together to transform their current systems into a modern, fully integrated, mid/back office and CRM operation. Following an extensive industry-wide evaluation, Tandem Travel chose to bring TravelOperations on as a supplier because we offered them the combination of our state-of-the-art platform and our in-depth travel sector expertise.

Meeting complex customer needs

Tandem Travel enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering an outstanding customer experience. Currently, time-consuming manual processes are needed to transfer complex customer requirements from their Online Booking Tools (OBTs) to the mid-office system.

We wanted a mid-office solution that would help us to automate and simplify our operations while continuing to improve our customer experience. It was a crucial business decision because this solution will be our single source of truth for all transactions associated with Tandem customer bookings. We chose TravelOperations because we’re confident they can help us achieve these goals.

Future proofing the travel agency business

Tandem Travel wanted a solution that would deliver efficient, reliable and accurate data transfers. They also needed the flexibility to integrate with their existing and future third-party applications. At the same time, they fully recognized the need to future-proof their business by ensuring they had the agility to adapt to any changes in the wider travel environment. Most importantly, any new system had to enable Tandem to continue serving their customers in a timely, accurate and effective manner. As a result, Tandem have chosen to implement:

TravelOperations Enterprise – our mid and back-office solution that aggregates all booking information into one sales order and gives employees access to the right customer information at the right time.

TravelOperations Engage – our CRM platform that is custom designed for travel businesses to provide unique and customer focused experiences.

We are currently in the process of implementing these systems for Tandem Travel. Both solutions are supported by the power of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and benefit from TravelOperations’ tested and proven fast implementation methodology. Our consultants are working with the Tandem team to ensure a smooth migration that reduces implementation time, cost and risk, whilst minimizing customer and operational disruption.
